Cutting through the noise – Here’s where to find Dell at SAPPHIRE NOW

Dell is gearing up for our biggest SAPPHIRE NOW presence to date and we can’t wait to spend time with our customers, partners and friends in Orlando. Each year SAP’s conference brings together thousands of IT’s brightest minds, and the takeaways from the event are incredible.

With that said, there’s a lot that goes on at this event, so I’ve detailed some of the highlights that you won’t want to miss.

The Dell booth: Come for the conversation, stay for the kegs [of root beer]

Be sure to swing by the Dell booth (#437) if you’re attending SAPPHIRE NOW. Our IT experts are onsite to share their knowledge, answer your questions and have some fun! We have some seriously cool activities planned. Here’s what you can expect -

• IoT Kegerator: Yep, we said kegerator. Visit the IoT section of our booth to receive a blinking Dell cup, and fill it up from our Sprecher Gourmet Root Beer keg. Our keg uses Dell Edge Gateway 5000 Series sensors to collect and display data about the root beer’s temperature, pressure and more. We’ll be serving a limited amount each day, so swing by while the root beer’s cold!
• Craps Table: Test your luck at our Dell Craps Table! For a little friendly competition, we’ll be connected via IP camera to live Craps Tables at the SAP booth and in Las Vegas. Through the use of Dell Edge Gateway sensors connected to WiFi, results will be shown on screen.  We’ll have a daily prize giveaway, but everyone leaves a winner when they take home their light up dice.
• Dell Solutions: We’ll be showcasing some of our most exciting SAP solutions including TARS, Dell’s Smart Building and more. We’re happy to offer demos and answer any questions you might have.
• Theater Presentations: Presentations from Dell and several of its partners will take place at the Dell booth on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. In case the knowledge you’ll take away from these presentations isn’t enough, we’ll also hand out Dell and Intel T-shirts to the ten attendees sitting in the theater booth chairs at each presentation. • Dell & VMware Passport Program: Want to learn more about VMware and Dell? Attend the four booth theater presentations listed with a * below and get your passport cards stamped to be eligible for the grand prize at the Dell booth on Wednesday. All attendees will receive a thank you prize.
